Front Squat

How to do it

  1. 1Rack a barbell across the front of your shoulders, elbows lifted high.
  2. 2Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, core braced.
  3. 3Bend your knees and hips to squat down, keeping your torso upright.
  4. 4Descend until your thighs are at least parallel to the floor.
  5. 5Drive through your heels to stand back up.
  6. 6Keep your elbows up throughout to hold the bar in place.
