How to do it

  1. 1Stand tall holding a dumbbell in each hand at your sides.
  2. 2Step one leg out wide to the side, keeping your toes forward.
  3. 3Bend that knee and push your hips back, keeping the other leg straight.
  4. 4Sink down until your bent thigh is near parallel to the floor.
  5. 5Push off through your bent leg to return to standing, then repeat on the other side.
