How to do it

  1. 1Stand holding a barbell with an underhand, shoulder-width grip.
  2. 2Hinge forward at your hips until your torso is near parallel.
  3. 3Row the bar up toward your lower ribs, elbows driving back.
  4. 4Squeeze your back hard at the top of the row.
  5. 5Lower the bar back to a full stretch under control.
